DOCTEUR BINH NGUYEN-BUI - PROFESSEUR JEAN-MICHEL COINDRE
L’Institut Bergonié a, en 2010, inclus 70 patients dans 16 essais thérapeutiques cliniques ouverts. Deux essais étaient promus par l’institut et se poursuivent. L’un, TOMOREP consiste en une étude pilote de phase 2 sur l’association d’une radiothérapie préopératoire par tomothérapie dans les liposarcomes rétropéritonéaux ; elle est financée par un PHRC. L’autre, CHONDROG, est une étude de phase 2 d’un traitement ciblé par une molécule antagoniste de la voie hedgehog, le GDC0449, dans les chondrosarcomes ; cet essai est financé dans le cadre d’un accord de coopération entre le National Cancer Institute américain et l’INCa. Vient de s’initier un essai de phase 3, TRUSTS, dont le promoteur est l’EORTC et dont l’Institut assure la coordination. Enfin, 2010 a vu s’achever l’étude de santé publique IPSSAR, promue par l’Institut également et elle aussi financée par un PHRC et un don de l’association de patients INFOSARCOMES.
