GROUPE HÉMATOLOGIE

Introduction
Le groupe Hématologie poursuit ses activités de recherche dans ses deux thématiques principales : lymphomes agressifs des sujets âgés et leucémie myéloïde chronique. Nous participons également activement aux essais des groupes coopérateurs nationaux et à des projets industriels en collaboration avec le Groupe Essais précoces. La thématique sur les lymphomes agressifs des patients vulnérables et fragiles fait l’objet également de réunions de formations de investigateurs compte tenu de la complexité de l’essai FRAIL06 qui nécessité une coordination efficace des équipes d’Hématologie et de Gériatrie qui n’est pas acquise dans tous les centres. Deux autres essais sont programmés dans les myélodysplasies et les rechutes de lymphomes agressifs des sujets âgés dans le cadre du programme d’essais d’inhibiteurs de LINE-1 en collaboration avec l’unité VINCO U916. Ces essais seront lancés au terme de l’essai de phase I Escale en cours de soumission aux autorités compétentes. L’Institut et le CHU de Bordeaux constituent le centre de référence régional du réseau national de prise en charge des lymphomes oculo-cérébraux (coordination : P Soubeyran) qualifié en 2010 dans le cadre de l’appel d’offre de l’INCa sur le réseau de prise en charge des tumeurs rares.
